This program is 32-bit compatible, and is suitable for all RISC OS
ARM6, ARM7, StrongARM and XScale machines.  It may not be suitable for
earlier machines.


About
-----

madplay is a command line MP3 player.  See the documentation for more details.

It was ported to demonstrated the use of sound support in Unixlib, which
emulates the /dev/dsp OSS system found on Linux.


Installation
------------

madplay can be placed anywhere, but putting it in your Run$Path such as
in the !Boot Library directory will make it easily accessable.


Usage
-----

Normally you run madplay in a taskwindow:

*madplay <shift-dragged filename>

Add the -v flag for more info whilst playing, note that there are key
controls for volume and pausing.
